My project over the Spring 2020 semester was to promote sustainable practices at the University of New England. Stakeholders of this endeavor were the Eco-Rep Team, Sustainability Director Alethea Cariddi, Environmental Council, Planetary Health Council, and myself. I was able to engage with these stakeholders via Email and weekly Eco-Rep team meetings.

My goal was to make our social media run effectively as possible and offer our subscribers a variety of content on our platforms including Facebook (Sustainable UNE), Instagram (@sustainableune), and the Eco-Buzz 2.0 Blog.

Meetings with the Eco-Rep team occurred every Friday at 9:00 am at UNE with Sustainability Director Alethea Cariddi. During these meetings we discussed how we would engage and inform the UNE community of sustainability on campus, what different methods/platforms we could use, and how each member of the Eco-Rep team would contribute to this project.

In the meeting where I presented this project, Alethea Cariddi and the Eco-Rep team members were present. I created a document that included specific jobs for each member of the Eco-Rep team. I gave each member a category to work on that I thought each member would be the most interested in. I made sure to let them know how important it was for the face of Sustainable UNE.
